Featured Play Store Review: mSpy Mobile Spy Monitoring [Tools] Recent Comments Android Forums iPhone News

mSpy hit the Google Play Store about a month ago, which is a smartphone tracking app. Tracking apps are getting quite popular for parents and employers that want to monitor their children or employees. I was shocked at how full-featured mSpy was. It doesn’t take more than a minute to download and install it on the device you need to monitor, but it’s the web interface that will wow you. With just a few clicks on your desktop, you will be able to see virtually everything the phone has done. For example, you can see the call logs, contacts, SMS text messages, the GPS location (both current and historical), emails, apps installed, pictures, and videos. You can even set it up to record the surroundings and even phone calls at a specified time and listen from your desktop. mSpy is also about security because in the event the phone is lost, you can remotely block the phone. Also because it tracks the current location (as well as historical), it can help you find the device. mSpy works very well and I was surprised how easy it was to set up. Upon installing it on your phone, just enter the email address you want to associate with your account. Then hit on your desktop and sign up for the service. Within seconds you will have every piece of information you can imagine at your fingertips. It’s almost a good idea to install it on your own device for your own purposes, but cost would probably be prohibitive for that. The main dashboard looks like this: (Click to Enlarge) As you can see, everything is laid out in a simple to understand way. All you need to do is click on each area for more information, it couldn’t be more simpler. For example, within phone management, there are a number of settings you can set up like how often mSpy updates and what exactly you want to track. (Click to Enlarge) Of course everything isn’t perfect. I did find some issues when scheduling a recording and deleting commands that I sent to the phone, but they already corrected them as of the time of this post. They do offer live support via telephone, Skype, or live chat within your browser. There is also one other thing that is very important. If you are in a situation in which you don’t want the person you’re tracking to know you have installed the app, you should not install it from the Play Store. If you do, it will show as an installed app in the “my apps” section. Instead, go directly to the mSpy website and manually install the APK. As far as updates go, it will still get updated “behind the scenes” so you don’t have to worry about not having the latest version. The only limitation is the phone that you want to track needs to have Android 2.2 or higher. Features If you’re looking for this type of service than you really need to look at mSpy.
